About Me

In my life, terrible things were done to me by other people.  But as traumatic as those events were, the aftermath was worse.  For decades, I was locked away in a prison of fear, depression, and shame. Believing myself to be worthless, I was without hope.

I later learned the trauma I had experienced was truly oppression that was visited upon me by the acts of others. Oppression I unwittingly received onto myself, accepting the identity of victim and the negative mentality that went with it. Utterly defeated, I was struggling through life and failing miserably.

But things turned around the day I declared Jesus my Lord and Savior and chose to follow Him. That was the start of my journey to healing and freedom.

I’m on my way

Jesus has healed me of much and continues to heal me.  I am now an overcomer in Him; I am no longer a victim!  I’m still on my journey, but I have faith that one day I will reach complete freedom in Him and with Him.

Hope pusher

I’ve been described as a “hope pusher”, and that’s pretty accurate! My heart and calling is to encourage others in Christ, as I have been encouraged.  God is no respecter of persons (Acts 10:34)… this means what is available for one is available for all. We can all find healing through Jesus Christ.

“And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” (John 8:32, KJV) Jesus IS that Truth.
